April gefeiert, St Patrick von Irland am 17. März, St David von Wales am 1. März und St Andrew von Schottland wird am 30. November begangen. Der Apostel Andreas wurde an ein X-förmiges Kreuz genagelt und deshalb findet man ein weißes St Andrew's cross oder saltire auf der blauen schottischen Flagge.
